Many guests arrive via the Brenner motorway and continue into Val Gardena by road.

• •From the north: via Innsbruck and Brenner, then take the A22 exit at Chiusa/Klausen and continue on the SS242D towards Val Gardena.
• •From the south: take the A22 exit at Bolzano Nord, then continue via Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck and the SS242 into Val Gardena.
• •According to Val Gardena tourism, Santa Christina is about 28 km from the Chiusa exit.

For rail arrivals, the most relevant connection points are Bolzano, Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck, Chiusa/Klausen and Bressanone/Brixen.

• •Line 350 connects Val Gardena with Bolzano and Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck.
• •Line 360 connects Val Gardena with Bressanone/Brixen.
• •Within the valley, lines 357 and 358 are especially relevant for Santa Christina, with seasonal support from 352, 353 and 354.

For international arrivals, several airports work well before the final transfer into the valley.

• •Bolzano Airport is the closest option.
• •Innsbruck, Verona and Munich are also common arrival airports for Val Gardena stays.
• •The official Val Gardena site recommends continuing from the airport by regional bus, Suedtirol Transfer or local taxi.

The Guest Pass is especially helpful if you want to move around the valley with less reliance on the car.

• •The digital pass is valid from 00:00 on arrival day until the end of departure day.
• •It includes all public buses in Val Gardena except the Nightbus and Monte Pana/Saltria bus, plus nearly all public transport in South Tyrol.
• •Important: it must be validated before every trip and, according to the tourism board, can also be used for arrival and departure.
